Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Heather Miller and I have a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences. With over 18 years of expertise, I bring proficiency in needs assessment, LMS administration, curriculum design, facilitation, and assessment.  

 

In May 2023, I completed the Instructional Design Certificate through the Association for Talent Development (ATD).  

My journey in instructional design is fueled by a curiosity to discover new things and an inquisitive mind that allows me to explain complicated subjects in simple terms. I thrive in environments where I can gather ideas, build relationships, ask questions, and think out loud to solve problems and accomplish goals.
 

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working experience working with learners from diverse disciplines such as STEM, Business and Liberal Arts.

My logical and objective approach, coupled with my ability to think about all the factors that might affect a situation, allows me to get to the root of a problem and implement effective solutions.
